Sheila שיילה

Director, Swim Instructor Carmei Gat

Sheila, 28, began swimming at the age of 7 in Argentina. As a kid she would compete regularly in competitions on the local swim team. Sheila received her certification as a swim instructor from the Wingate Institute in 2018 and has taught in many pools in the Jerusalem area. In 2019, desiring to create a swimming experience in the safest and most fun environment possible, she opened AguaGal Swim School. Sheila loves swimming, zumba, traveling, and friends!

שיילה, 28, החלה לשחות בגיל 7 בארגנטינה. בתור ילדה היא הייתה מתחרה באופן קבוע בתחרויות בנבחרת השחייה המקומית. שיילה קיבלה את ההסמכה שלה כמדריכת שחייה ממכון וינגייט בשנת 2018 ולימדה בבריכות רבות באזור ירושלים. בשנת 2019, מתוך רצון ליצור חווית שחייה בסביבה הבטוחה והמהנה ביותר, היא פתחה את בית הספר לשחייה אגווה-גל. שיילה אוהבת שחייה, זומבה, טיולים וחברים

Maya מאיה

Head Swim Instructor, Jerusalem ירושלים

Maya, 23, is a past member of the Israel National Swimming Team and was awarded Champion of Israel (Alufat Israel) for swimming both in the pool and the open sea. Maya has been teaching swimming for 7 years. She received the award of excellence in the military in her position of sports trainer. Maya has been teaching at AguaGal for 4 years, and when she is not teaching she is busy studying a degree of Physical Education at the Wingate Institute.

מאיה, בת 23, שחיינית עבר בנבחרת ישראל בשחייה וזכתה באליפות ישראל בשחייה הן בבריכה והן בים הפתוח. מאיה מלמדת שחייה כבר 7 שנים. היא קיבלה את פרס הצטיינות בצבא בתפקידה כמאמנת ספורט. מאיה מלמדת כבר 4 שנים באגווה-גל, וכשהיא לא מלמדת אז היא עסוקה בלימודי תואר בחינוך גופני במכון וינגייט

Shana שנה

Swim Instructor, Jerusalem ירושלים

Shana, 28, has been a swimmer her whole life. Shana was a member of her competitive high school swim team. Working with children for over 10 years, an outgoing person by nature, her passion for swimming, fitness and safety lead her to become both a certified swim instructor as well as a lifeguard with certification both in Israel and the US. For the past 5 years Shana has been coaching swim teams and providing private swim lessons to children and adults in the Jerusalem area.

Refael רפאל

Swim Instructor, Jerusalem ירושלים

Refael, 38, has not stopped swimming since the age of 4. His father founded the swimming pool in Afula where Refael was born, and Refael practically was raised at that pool. At age 18 Refael was already a certified lifeguard and swim instructor and began teaching swimming to others. He has successfully taught thousands of kids and adults to swim and has taught at dozens of pools around Israel, including last year at AguaGal. Refael is a well-known swim instructor around the country and is loved by everyone!

Shani שני

Swim Instructor, Carmei Gat כרמי גת

Shani, 18, began swimming at the age of 5. As a kid she was on the synchronised swim team, and continued on to the Nachal Sorek swim team where she swam the kineret to raise funds for the Sadnat Shiluv, 4 times! Shani received her certification as a swim instructor from the Givat Washington Institute and has taught many little ones to swim both in Yad Binyamin pools and Revadim pools. Shani loves the water, whether swimming in a pool or in open seas, and loves to pass that passion on to others, with her energetic bubbly disposition.

שני, בת 18, החלה לשחות בגיל 5. בילדותה הייתה בנבחרת השחייה המסונכרנת, והמשיכה לנבחרת השחייה של נחל שורק שם שחתה את הכינרת לגיוס כספים לסדנת השילוב, 4 פעמים! שני קיבלה את ההסמכה שלה כמדריכת שחייה ממכון גבעת וושינגטון ולימדה ילדים רבים לשחות הן בבריכות יד בנימין והן בבריכות רבדים. שני אוהבת את המים, בין אם לשחות בבריכה או בים פתוח, ואוהבת להעביר את התשוקה הזו לאחרים, עם האנרגיה הכיפית שלה
